At Mond Pastry, one thing is certain: baking makes us happy.

Macarons as we know them, originated in France, where pastry chefs inspired by Middle Eastern recipes, created these delicious sweet meringue cookie sandwiches.

Our pastry chef Tami is no less travelled. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she apprenticed for 4 years in the Duhau Patisserie, serving fresh-made complimentary macarons to the adjoining Park Hyatt Hotel. Just after graduating, the training continued in Australia where she worked for a French Patisserie in Melbourne, baking macarons. All day, every day.

We now found her here in Amsterdam, looking for new challenges. But the Aussie experience had changed her: she became obsessed with Macarons.

Now, our mission is very clear: to create the most delicious Macarons in the world. With each distinct flavor, color, and texture, you’ll teleport to a bistro in Paris (raspberry), the Swiss alps (chocolate), the gardens of Babylon (pistache) or the simple bliss of being home (peanut butter & jelly).

So whether it’s a gift, to decorate a cake, or just to treat yourself, we’ve got you. Our Macarons are always made from scratch to order.
